Festa di San Giovanni

On the piazzale Padre Cristino da Oneglia, in the second half of June, every year for 35 years, the beautiful feast of the patron saint of Oneglia takes place.

There are about ten days of celebration and joy, of eating well and opportunities for recreation and entertainment for all tastes and ages.

There are stands dedicated to local, cultural and voluntary associations, car displays, games for the little ones, a tent dedicated to the most diverse activities during the day, which in the evening turns into a dance hall and / or disco depending on the time. , with live orchestras and DJs for the youngest.

Gatherings of various genres, photographic exhibitions, decoupage works, charity fishing and much more.

We cannot forget a moment dear to all the Imperians, awaited with joy and seen by 40,000 people. The great Fireworks , by lovers of English also called FIREWORKS, as always staged by the award-winning Martarello company.

The most important part, however, is always that dedicated to food, with the "Mediterranean Cuisine" which gives its best during all the evenings of the Festival. The dishes of excellence, the most renowned and sought after are: the minestrone all'onegliese, the muscles, the fried blue fish and above all, the stockfish all'onegliese cooked with skill in the pot of primates, the " Giuvanina " of 3 meters diameter. But the whole menu is worthy of attention and much loved according to personal tastes.
